Three Year Old Program
Children must have independent bathroom skills to attend this program.
Three’s
We welcome the excitement and exuberance of the three year old child. Our program is designed to support these children in the dual quest for increasing independence and hands on discovery learning. Our skilled teachers offer a program that fosters the development of each individual child as their mind and imagination blossoms using a curriculum based on learning through play.
Learning Through Play
We believe that play is an effective method of learning. Play is a child’s way of exploring, experimenting, and learning cooperative behavior. Our trained staff utilize play situations to introduce language, science, social studies, music and creative arts. Each child is recognized as a productive individual as they develop self-confidence and feelings of self-worth.
Our Focused areas of development are . . .
- Gross Motor - skills, strength, coordination, movement, exercise
- Spiritual – talking to God and learning about his birth, life and ministry
- Aesthetic - Music, Arts, Drama, Movement
- Social/Emotional - safe, happy, respect, self-esteem, forgiveness and empathy, helping others, forging friendships, developing patience, forming attachments with trusted adults
- Cognitive - develop and pursue interests and curiosities, ask and respond to questions, process and understand information, solve problems, undertake challenges
- Language- use words to communicate wants and needs, express feelings and thoughts, listening, reading, love for conversation, books and storytelling
- Fine Motor –sensory manipulation, holding writing instruments with fingers, increasing their self-care skills
Days and Times of Classes
➢ Our 3 day program is Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday mornings from 9am-noon
➢ Our 4 day program is Tuesday-Friday mornings from 9am-noon
➢ Our 5 day program is Monday-Friday mornings from 9am-noon
Each class will have a maximum of 12-14 students with 2 teachers
